    Utica, N.Y - The SUNY Poly softball Team swept a three game series against conference foe SUNY Morrisville, ending all games in five innings. Backed by stellar pitching, the Wildcats offense was once again rolling, scoring 33 runs over 15 innings. Two Wildcats hit career milestones, beginning in game one when Trinity Critelli became the first Wildcat in SUNY Poly Softball history to reach 500 strikeouts, followed by Amy DeSena reaching 100 career hits. The wins push the Wildcats to 22-8 on the season.

    Clinton, N.Y - The SUNY Poly women’s softball team picked up another three wins, thanks to some hot bats and stellar pitching. In three games against the SUNY Canton Kangaroos, SUNY Poly scored a total of 47 runs, while only giving up 12. The wins give the Wildcats a 16-4 record on the season, as well as pushes their win streak to six games.

    Syracuse, N.Y - The SUNY Poly Softball team dominated the Vermont State Johnson Badgers over a three game series. Thanks to some hot bats and stellar pitching, the Wildcats ended all three games in five innings. The trio of wins pushes the Wildcats to 13-4 on the season.

    Canton, N.Y - The SUNY Poly women’s softball team dropped two close games to the St. Lawrence Saints. Trinity Critelli took the mound in the first game, allowing six runs on 10 hits. The Wildcats struggled to find a big hit, as they left seven runners on base. In game two, Wildcats Joy Stevens was on the bump, where she allowed two runs on 12 hits. SUNY Poly would lead for much of the game, until the bottom of the 8th inning, when the Saints would walk it off on an error. The Wildcats are now 10-4 on the season.

    Delhi, N.Y. - The Wildcats finished a three game sweep of the SUNY Delhi Broncos over the weekend. The Wildcats finished two of the three games in five innings. SUNY Poly’s all-time strikeout leader Trinity Critelli was on the mound for two of the games, combining for 12 innings pitched and 20 strikeouts. Critelli was also credited with a no-hitter in game one. Joy Stevens pitched game two, finishing with five strikeouts over five innings pitched. The Wildcats are now 10-2 on the season.

    North Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The SUNY Poly softball team picked up two wins on day 4 of the FastPitch Dreams Classic, ending both games in 5 innings. In game one, the Wildcats defeated SUNY Delhi 9-0. In the second game of the day, the Wildcats beat Mt. St. Vincent 11-2. SUNY Poly is now 7-1 on the season.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference has announced the Softball All-Conference Award winners for the 2023 season. The awards are nominated and voted on by the coaches of the NAC and consist of five individual awards, two All-Conference Teams for each division, and an 11-player Sportsmanship Team. The Wildcats had five players earn All-Conference Awards. Kimberly Birmingham and Trinity Critelli were First Team West All-Conference. Gabriella Ellixson and Maddelyn Hoehn were Second Team West All-Conference. Joy Stevens was the Wildcats representative on the NAC Sportsmanship Team.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team lost on Monday one win shy of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship game. The Wildcats started day two of the tournament with a big 12-2 win over UMPI to advance in the bracket but lost their second game of the day 13-10 in a slugfest to Cazenovia. The Wildcats end their 2023 campaign with a 21-7 overall record.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats softball team suffered a tough loss on Sunday in their first game of the 2023 NAC Softball Championship Tournament. The ‘Cats were shut out by the visiting Thomas College Terriers. The Terriers dominated from start to finish, displaying an impressive offensive performance to ultimately win 19-0.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team will host the 2023 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship Tournament from Sunday, May 7th to Tuesday, May 9th. The Wildcats earned the #1 seed in the West Division with an 11-1 conference record. Cazenovia earned the #2 seed in the West and Cobleskill earned the #3 seed. In the East, Husson went a perfect 10-0 to earn the #1 seed. Thomas earned the #2 and UMPI earned the #3. With the Championship Tournament set to be played in the West, the Wildcats will host the six-team double-elimination tournament over a three-day period.

    CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team took care of business on Tuesday night, beating Cazenovia 8-6 and 7-5 in two games to clinch the #1 seed in the West, earning the right to host the NAC Championship Tournament. The Wildcats took an early lead in game one and defended that lead right to the end. In game two Cazenovia opened the game with a pair of runs to take an early lead, but the Wildcats scored in the second and third innings to take a 5-2 lead that they rode to the finish line. The Wildcats wrap up NAC play with an 11-1 conference record.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team finished their series sweep of SUNY Delhi on Saturday afternoon with a 6-2 win. Aeron Hamm and Kimberly Birmingham each drove in two runs in the game with Aeron Hamm hitting a two-run home run in the third. The Wildcats are now 18-5 this season with a 9-1 record in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team won two games overSUNY Delhi on Friday afternoon 9-0 and 7-2. The first game saw Trinity Critelli throw her third no-hitter of the season (5-innings). The Wildcat bats were hot. They recorded 10 hits in the first game and 13 hits in game two to improve to 17-5 this season with an 8-1 record in NAC play. Prior to the start of game two, the Wildcats held their annual Senior Day Celebration, honoring the careers of their two seniors; Gabriella Ellixson and Maddelyn Hoehn.

    CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly softball team lost their first North Atlantic Conference game of the season on Tuesday evening 12-4 to Cazenovia. The Wildcats took an early 3-0 lead, but Cazenovia chipped away at the lead through the first four innings and took control of the game in the fourth and fifth innings. The Wildcats are now 15-5 this season with a 6-1 record in the NAC.

    SOMEWHERE, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats swept the SUNY Canton Roos in a doubleheader on Saturday, winning the first game 12-0 and the second game 8-0. Starting pitcher Trinity Critelli threw her second consecutive no-hitter for SUNY Poly in the first game, striking out 16 batters in six innings of work. Aeron Hamm and Kimberly Birmingham both had monster days at the plate for Poly in the wins. The Wildcats are now 15-4 this season with a perfect 6-0 record in NAC play.

    CANTON, N.Y. - SUNY Poly softball continued its dominant play on Friday with a 14-0 victory over SUNY Canton in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play. The Wildcats remain undefeated in NAC play at 4-0 and now have a 13-4 overall record. Trinity Critelli was great for the Wildcats in the win, she threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 13 batters.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team completed their series sweep of Cobleskill on Saturday, winning both games of a doubleheader. Poly won the first game 8-2 and the second game 5-4. Game one was a 14-hit offensive outburst for the Wildcats with great pitching. Game two was the opposite, with the Wildcats exploiting opportunities given to them by the Fighting Tigers who made three errors in the game while allowing just two hits. SUNY Poly is now 12-4 this season with a 3-0 record in NAC play.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team defeated SUNY Cobleskill 10-2 in the opening game of a three-game North Atlantic Conference (NAC) series between the two. SUNY Poly won the game thanks in large part to a big third inning which saw eight runs cross the plate for the Wildcats and a great pitching performance that kept the Fighting Tigers off the board. The win was the Wildcat's 10th (10-4) of the season and their first in NAC play (1-0).

    AURORA, N.Y. - SUNY Poly softball dominated their mid-week non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, beating Wells 12-0 (5 innings) and 18-0 (5 innings) to improve their season record to 9-4. The Wildcats had 32 hits in the two games and allowed just two hits, one in each game, to the Express.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has announced the postponement of the SUNY Poly baseball and softball games on Wednesday, April 5th. The softball doubleheader at Saint Lawerence has been postponed. A makeup date has not yet been announced. The SUNY Poly baseball home game against Russell Sage has been postponed and rescheduled for April 19th with a 4:00 PM start.

    UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly softball team beat Utica twice on Wednesday afternoon 3-2 on a walk-off and 8-5. The Wildcats had some timely hitting behind a great outing by Trinity Critelli in the first game. In the second game, the Wildcat offense was great, tallying 14 hits and eight runs. The doubleheader sweep is the Wildcat's first sweep of Utica since the 2010 season.

    NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The SUNY Poly softball team lost two games on Thursday afternoon to wrap up their Myrtle Beach trip. The Wildcats lost to Susquehanna 3-1 in the first game and lost 9-0 to Keene State in game two. The Wildcats wrap up their spring break trip with a 5-4 record.

    NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The SUNY Poly softball team split their games on Wednesday, losing 8-6 to Randolph and beating Skidmore 11-1 in five-inning mercy. The Wildcats battled in the first game in what was a back-and-forth game. A big fifth inning ultimately won the game for Randolph. In the team’s second game, the offense exploded for 11 runs on nine hits and played perfect defense. Trinity Critelli was dominant, earning her third win of the year.

    NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The SUNY Poly softball team earned a pair of wins on Tuesday afternoon at the FastPitch Dreams Classic. In the day’s first game, the Wildcats beat Curry College 4-2. In their second game, the Wildcats won 7-2 over UMaine-Presque Isle. Poly is now 4-1 this season.

In the first game, the ‘Cats mercy-ruled Franciscan 13-2, recording 13 hits and five extra-base hits. In their second game of the day, the Wildcats lost a low-scoring contest 2-1 to undefeated FDU-Florham. The Wildcats are now 2-1 this season.

    NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The SUNY Poly softball team won their season opener on Sunday at the Fast Pitch Dreams Tournament in North Myrtle Beach. The game was a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Mount St. Vincent that saw a phenomenal pitching performance by the Wildcats. SUNY Poly is now 1-0 this season. The loss was the first for Mount St. Vincent (3-1).
