Utica, N.Y - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team suffered their second loss of the season, after being shutout by the Elmira Soaring Eagles by a score of 1-0. The Soaring Eagles outshot the Wildcats 13-7, with their long goal coming from forward Lancia Alessandro at the 65th minute. The Wildcats are now 4-2 on the season, with a conference record of 0-1.

Newburgh, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team continued their winning ways, after defeating the Mount Saint Mary College Knights by a score of 6-1. Five Wildcats registered goals, including forward Dominick Spychalksi who scored twice in the matchup. This is the first time the Wildcats have gone unbeaten through their first four games since 2013 when the team started 3-0-1.

The Wildcats outshot the Kangaroos 31-8, with four different Wildcats scoring. Jhonny Theze and Thomas Nimineh led the charge with two goals each.

MSOC: Wildcats Down the Hawks, Win New Paltz Opening Weekend Tournament.
New Paltz, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team picked up their second win of the season in as many days, defeating the SUNY New Paltz Hawks by a score of 1-0. Midfielder Jhonny Theze continued his impressive weekend, scoring his third goal of the weekend. The Wildcats will now have a week to prepare for their home opener vs SUNY Canton on September 11th.
