Wildcats Clamp Down on Tigers for 59-43 WinFebruary 01, 2012UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women’s Basketball Team (15-3, 9-1 NEAC) went up against the number one defense in the NEAC on Wednesday (in terms of points allowed) in the form of the visiting SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers (11-8, 8-4 NEAC). In the end, however, it would be the Wildcats’ defense on display, as SUNYIT held Cobleskill to just 26% shooting for a 59-43 win.

'Cats Hit the Glass For 67-57 WinJanuary 29, 2012UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Wildcats (14-3, 8-1 NEAC) weathered an impressive second half push by Wells College (5-13, 3-7 NEAC) on Sunday to claim victory, 67-57. Four players scored in double-figures for the Lady Wildcats, and SUNYIT as a team shot a solid 19 for 25 from the free throw line to earn the victory.

With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 13-3 overall and 7-1 in the conference while the Storm improves to 10-4 overall and 8-2 in the NEAC.
