UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Lady Wildcats (8-2, 2-0 NEAC) stifled the Lady Bison of Gallaudet (3-6) on Sunday, 51-30. SUNYIT held Gallaudet to just 15% shooting on the day, and only 1 for 14 from three-point range.

Good shooting was in short supply generally on Sunday, as in spite of the 21-point runaway victory, SUNYIT only shot 26% themselves, and equaled Gallaudet's three-point output by going 1 for 11. 

Kwanisha Jones (Philadelphia, N.Y. / Indian River) led SUNYIT scorers with 11 points, and Lyndsey Brognano (Rome, N.Y. / RFA) and Abbey Hanehan (Stillwater, N.Y. / Stillwater) added 10 points each.

On the other side of the ball, former Whitesboro High School player Elena Ciccarelli led all players with 15 rebounds, including a whopping 11 offensive boards.

SUNYIT will look to extend their four-game winning streak with another home game on Wednesday vs. Morrisville State. Game time is set for 3:00 pm.
