GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced the 21 student-athletes selected to the 2018 Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team and the four recipients of individual honors as determined in a vote by the league’s coaches. SUNY Poly had three student-athletes receive All-Conference Awards for their efforts this season.
KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team won their final NEAC match of the regular season at Keuka College on Wednesday night (25-21, 27-25, 25-21). The Wildcats are on a tear, as they have won their last five matches with three of those wins coming against NEAC opponents. The victory puts the Wildcats into 5th place in the NEAC standings heading into the final weekend of the regular season.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Wildcats Women’s Volleyball team defeated non-conference foe SUNY Delhi in straight sets on Monday (25-16, 25-12, 25-12). The win brings the Wildcats to a 12-15 overall record with three matches remaining in the regular season.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team beat Penn State Abington and St. Elizabeth on Saturday. The two wins were vital for the Wildcats as they move into 6th place in the NEAC standings with one conference game remaining. SUNY Poly was able to squeak by Penn State Abington in five sets in the first match of the day (25-12, 17-25, 19-25, 25-15, 15-13). The Wildcats then swept St. Elizabeth in their second match (25-19, 25-16, 25-17). SUNY Poly is now 11-15 overall, and 6-4 in NEAC play this season.
UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team defeated local rival Utica College in close, hard fought match on Thursday (26-24, 22-25, 25-22, 25-22). It is the second time this season the Wildcats have beaten the Pioneers in four sets. The Wildcats have won 4 of their last five matches, improving to a 9-15 overall record. Karlie King (Liverpool, N.Y.) led the way for SUNY Poly, as she recorded season highs in both kills and digs.
AURORA, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team fell to conference foe Wells College on Friday evening. The Wildcats took the first set 25-17, but Wells rallied to take the next three sets (25-17, 25-20, 25-14). The Wildcats are now 8-15 on the season with 4-4 record in NEAC play.
WILLIAMSPORT PA. - The SUNY Poly women’s volleyball team earned a big pair of wins on Saturday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) cross over event at Penn College. The Wildcats squared off with Penn State Berks and Penn College, winning both matches handily. The match against Penn State Berks was a 3-1 win (25-20, 25-13, 16-25, 25-12). The second match against host Penn College was a 3-0 sweep (25-19, 25-11, 25-10). With the two wins the Wildcats are now 11-16 with a 5-4 NEAC record.
CORTLAND, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Wildcats traveled to SUNY Cortland on Tuesday October 2nd. The Wildcats had one of their best matches of the season thus far as they took the match in straight sets (25-22, 25-21, 25-15). Karlie King (Liverpool, N.Y.) led all players with 11 kills in the match. The Wildcats are now 7-12 overall.
CLINTON, N.Y. – The Wildcats jumped right back into action after defeating local rival Utica College on Friday evening. Bowdoin College took down SUNY Poly in four sets in the first match on Saturday (25-8, 17-25, 25-12, 25-17). The Wildcats then fell to local foe Hamilton College in straight sets (25-19, 27-25, 25-20). SUNY Poly is now 5-14 on the season.

Karlie King (Liverpool, N.Y.) led SUNY Poly by recording a season high 17 kills to go along with 15 digs and a service ace in the winning effort. The Wildcats move to 5-12 overall with the win.
MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Wildcats traveled to Morrisville State on Wednesday. Unfortunately for SUNY Poly, the Mustangs of Morrisville took the match in straight sets (25-9, 25-10, 25-18). The Wildcats drop to 2-3 in the NEAC, and 4-12 overall with the loss.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team traveled to SUNY Cobleskill for two matches on Saturday. The Wildcats fell to conferences foes Gallaudet (25-22, 12-25, 14-25, 17-25) and Lancaster Bible (25-18, 25-16, 25-11) to move to 2-2 in NEAC play and 4-10 overall.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team picked up their second conference victory on Wednesday, as they took down NEAC rival Cazenovia (25-20, 25-18, 25-20). The Wildcats are now 2-0 in conference play, and 4-9 overall. Seven Wildcats recorded two or more kills on the evening.
MARCY, N.Y. – The Wildcats traveled to Hartwick College to compete in the 2018 Hartwick Invitational. SUNY Poly lost their first match on Friday against King’s College (Pa.) in four sets (25-22, 27-29, 19-25, 24-26). The Wildcats did not fare better on day two of the invitational as they were defeated by Oneonta (25-7, 25-21, 25-13) and Hartwick (25-21, 27-25, 25-15) on Saturday. Despite a disappointing weekend for the Wildcats, Sydney Johnson (Nine Mile Falls, Wash.) made history by breaking the program record for career assists.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team opened NEAC play with a hard fought, straight set victory over SUNY Cobleskill (25-16, 26-24, 25-17). The Wildcats were led by Brittany Adams (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and her 13 kills. With the victory, the Wildcats move to 3-6 overall and 1-0 in NEAC play.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women’s volleyball had a tough three games this past weekend at the University of Rochester Invitational. The Wildcats went 0-3 but had a career milestone and an All-Tournament Team Selection. The Wildcats fell 0-3 to St. John Fisher on Friday and 0-3 to both Rochester and Nazareth on Saturday.
MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Women’s Volleyball team traveled to Morrisville State for four non-conference matches this weekend. On Friday, the Wildcats opened the season with a match against Buffalo State, followed by a match against Oswego State. The Wildcats then took on Penn St.-Behrend and MIT on Saturday.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has released the 2018 schedule for the Wildcat women’s volleyball team. This year’s schedule features 30 games; nine at home and 21 on the road. The Wildcats open play on the road at Morrisville State where they will play D’Youville and Buffalo State on August 31st at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The team’s first home game is on Monday, September 10th at 7:00 PM against Sage College.
