WVB: Wildcats Fall to NEAC rival Morrisville in Three Sets.

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Wildcats traveled to Morrisville State on Wednesday. Unfortunately for SUNY Poly, the Mustangs of Morrisville took the match in straight sets (25-9, 25-10, 25-18). The Wildcats drop to 2-3 in the NEAC, and 4-12 overall with the loss.

NOTABLES:

  • Claire Ladlee (Leonardsville, N.Y.) led the Wildcats with six kills and an Attack Percentage of .556.
  • The Wildcats as a team had a hit percentage of .021, while the Mustangs had a .302 attack percentage.
  • Amelia Baratier led the charge for the Mustangs with 14 kills to go along with five digs, one assist, and a service ace. Megyan Merrill added 11 kills, 12 digs, and four service aces for the Mustangs.

The Wildcats will look to bounce back on Friday September 28th, as they take on cross-town rival Utica College. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm in the Wildcat Fieldhouse.
