WASHINGTON – The SUNY Polytechnic Women’s Volleyball Team (16-19, 7-5 NEAC) saw its season draw to a close on Friday evening, as the #6 Wildcats fell to the #3-seeded Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks in four sets.
GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – A year removed from a senior-led class that featured a Player of the Year and three all-conference selections, it was the youngsters leading the way for the Wildcats on Wednesday as rookie Megan Will (Remsen, N.Y. / Remsen) and sophomore Emma Larson (Miller Place, N.Y. / Miller Place) represented the Wildcats on the All-NEAC 2nd Team.

COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Women’s Volleyball Team (16-17, 7-5 NEAC) traveled to SUNY Cobleskill over the weekend for a non-conference tournament, their final tune-up before the NEAC Tournament save for a single match next Saturday at Oswego. The Wildcats fell to Rutgers-Newark and King’s College on Friday before rebounding with a 3-0 sweep of host Cobleskill on Saturday.
LANCASTER, Pa. – The Women’s Volleyball Team (15-14, 7-5 NEAC) entered the NEAC Crossover hosted by Lancaster Bible College needing to take at least two of their three scheduled matches in order to be assured of a spot in the NEAC Tournament.
MARCY, N.Y. – The latest NCAA statistical report for Division III Women’s Volleyball was released earlier this week. The big news for SUNY Polytechnic was the inclusion of outside-hitter Emma Larson (Miller Place, N.Y. / Miller Place), who ranked third nationally with 60 service aces on the year.
CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Women’s Volleyball Team (12-12, 4-3 NEAC) dropped a tough four-setter to Keuka on Friday before sweeping the host Cazenovia Wildcats in three sets to finish the first day of a big NEAC Crossover at 1-1.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Women’s Volleyball Team (11-11) pulled to .500 on the season with a 3-0 sweep of the Southern Vermont Mountaineers (4-7) on Tuesday night. The match marked SUNY Poly’s penultimate home match for the year.

CLINTON, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Women’s Volleyball Team (8-9) rebounded from two sets down to take the third set, but ultimately fell to the Continentals of Hamilton College on Wednesday night, 3-1.
AURORA, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Women’s Volleyball Team (7-8, 2-2 NEAC) came away from its first NEAC weekend of matches with an even split, running their NEAC record to 2-2. The invitational was hosted by Wells College.

Moore) swept the NEAC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week Awards on Monday. Reakes won her second straight Defensive Player of the Week Award, while the rookie Will received her first award of the year as the Offensive Player of the Week.
UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women’s Volleyball Team (2-5) was swept by the Pioneers of Utica College (3-4) on Wednesday evening, 3-0. The sweep belied a tight match, however, with each set decided by just two points.
GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Junior women’s soccer player Erica Maisonet (Walkill, N.Y. / Walkill) and junior women’s volleyball player Erika Reakes (Brewerton, N.Y. / Paul V. Moore) took home NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week honors in their respective sports on Monday, becoming the first Wildcat athletes to do so this fall. CANTON, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women’s Volleyball Team (2-4, 0-0 NEAC) would be forgiven for heading to the wrong bench once or twice during Saturday morning’s thrilling 3-2 victory over SUNY Plattsburgh. The Wildcats defeated the Cardinals and former head coach Jake Bluhm, who left SUNYIT over the summer to take the Head Women’s Volleyball position at Plattsburgh.
CANTON, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women’s Volleyball Team (0-1, 0-0 NEAC) fell in its season-opener Friday evening, 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-16) to Houghton College. The loss came in the team’s first round match of the SUNY Canton Invitational.
