GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – A year removed from a senior-led class that featured a Player of the Year and three all-conference selections, it was the youngsters leading the way for the Wildcats on Wednesday as rookie Megan Will (Remsen, N.Y. / Remsen) and sophomore Emma Larson (Miller Place, N.Y. / Miller Place) represented the Wildcats on the All-NEAC 2nd Team.
Will had a tremendous debut season and was in the conversation for the conference's Rookie of the Year Award; she finished near the top of the league in hitting percentage and blocking while leading SUNY Poly in both categories.
As for Larson, the sophomore outside-hitter had a breakout year. Larson carried the bulk of the offensive workload for the Wildcats and finished as the team leader in kills. As of the last NCAA statistical report, she was also ranked 6th in the nation in service aces.
