Volleyball’s Larson Ranked Third Nationally in Service Aces

MARCY, N.Y. – The latest NCAA statistical report for Division III Women's Volleyball was released earlier this week. The big news for SUNY Polytechnic was the inclusion of outside-hitter Emma Larson (Miller Place, N.Y. / Miller Place), who ranked third nationally with 60 service aces on the year.

Not surprisingly Larson leads the NEAC in total service aces, and is second in service-aces-per-set at .71. She also leads the SUNY Poly team in kills with 245.

Also making it onto the national statistical scene as of Tuesday's report was Wildcat libero Erika Reakes (Brewerton, N.Y. / Paul V. Moore). The junior – a 2nd Team All-NEAC selection last season – is currently ranked 10th in the country in digs with 426 through SUNY Poly's first 26 matches.
