MLAX: Nine Wildcats Earn NEAC All-Conference Honors.
May 02, 2019GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced the 2019 NEAC All-Conference Teams for men’s lacrosse as voted on by the Head Coaches of the NEAC. The SUNY Poly Wildcats were well represented on the All-Conference teams with a conference-high nine players receiving honors. -
MLAX: SUNY Poly Advances to First NEAC Championship in Program History.
May 01, 2019KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team is Championship bound for the first time in program history. The Wildcats advanced in a thrilling 13-12 win at Keuka College. The Wildcats took a first-half lead but the Wolves did not give in, tying the game late in the third quarter. The Wildcat defense held strong in the fourth, allowing just one goal. The Wildcats will play the #1 seed Morrisville State Mustangs in the NEAC Championship game on Saturday, May 4th at 5:00 PM.

MLAX: Wildcats Wrap-up Regular Season With Senior Day Win Over Medaille.
April 27, 2019MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team won their final North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) regular season game against Medaille on Saturday. The Wildcats built up a 9-2 lead in the first half and never looked back. They would go on to outscore the Mavericks 4-3 in the second half. Before the game, the Wildcats celebrated Senior Day for their seven seniors. This year's seniors included Chase LaCava (Jamesville, N.Y.), Parker Naab (Rochester, N.Y.), Daniel Rivie (Ossining, N.Y.), Charles Rosaschi (Highland Mills, N.Y.), Ryan Daucher (Geneva, N.Y.), and Jonathan Sobolewski (Staten Island, N.Y.). All were in the starting lineup for the Wildcats.

MLAX: SUNY Poly Takes Sole Possession of Third Place With a Win Over Cazenovia.
April 24, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team earned a great North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win over Cazenovia College on Wednesday. SUNY Poly got out to a commanding five-goal lead in the first half and grew the lead to as many as seven goals in the second. The Wildcats got great production from some familiar players and got a great performance from Rhett Stauffer (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) who had a career-high three goals which included the first two Wildcat goals of the game. The win brings the Wildcats season record to 8-5 with a 4-2 NEAC record. The Wildcats are now in sole possession of third place in the NEAC.

MLAX: Wildcats Fall to Keuka in a Triple Overtime Thriller.
April 13, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team lost a triple-overtime thriller to Keuka College on Saturday in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. The final score of the game was 11-10 in favor of the Keuka College Wolves. The Wildcats are now 6-5 this season with a 2-2 NEAC record.

MLAX: Wednesday's Game Against Cobleskill Will Now Be Played at SUNY Poly.
April 10, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has announced that the lacrosse game originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th at Cobleskill has been relocated to SUNY Poly's Wildcat Field. The venue change is due to sub-par field conditions at SUNY Cobleskill. The game will still take place at 4:00 PM. MLAX: Wildcats Earn NEAC Win Over Cobleskill.
April 10, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team took down Cobleskill on Wednesday night 14-8 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. The Wildcats got out to a good start, scoring four unanswered goals in the first quarter. Cobleskill nearly matched Poly goal-for-goal in the second quarter, but the Wildcats took an 8-3 lead into the locker room at halftime. The ‘Cats would close out the game relatively unscathed to finish out the win. SUNY Poly is now 6-4 overall with a 2-1 NEAC record.

MLAX: Records Broken and Milestones Surpassed in Wildcat Win Over Hilbert.
April 06, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's lacrosse team earned a North Eastern Athletic Conference win over Hilbert College on Saturday 13-6. The win brings the Wildcats season record to 5-4 with a 1-1 record in NEAC play. The game was historic as two Wildcats reached career milestones for the program. Edward Rosaschi (Highland Mills, N.Y.) became the programs all-time leader in career points surpassing the record of 108 with his fourth goal in the game. Daniel Rivie (Ossining, N.Y.) became just the fourth Wildcat to join the 100-point club at SUNY poly on his assist in the third quarter. The win over Hilbert was just the Wildcats second win over the Hawks in program history.

MLAX: Wildcats Lose a Close NEAC Game at Morrisville.
April 03, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's lacrosse team lost a tight game to Morrisville State on Wednesday night at Morrisville. The game was the Wildcats first North Eastern Athletic Conference game of the season. The Wildcats are now 4-4 overall with a 0-1 NEAC record. The game was tight through the first half with the Wildcats holding a 5-4 lead at the end of the second quarter. SUNY Poly would add one more goal to push their lead to two, but Morrisville would score seven of the next eight goals taking an 11-7 lead into the fourth quarter. The Wildcats gave it a run in the fourth quarter, but their three goals were not enough to overcome the deficit.

MLAX: Wildcats Earn Convincing Win at Alfred State.
March 30, 2019ALFRED, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's lacrosse team improved their season record to 4-3 with a 19-7 win over Alfred State on Saturday. The Wildcats scored first in the game rattling off two goals in the first two minutes of play. A big run in the second helped the Wildcats establish a six goal lead with just over four minutes left in the first half. Another big run spanning the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter gave the Wildcats a commanding 17-6 lead with just under 11 minutes to play. SUNY Poly would close out the game to earn their fourth victory of the season. They are now 4-3 overall.

MLAX: Fourth Quarter Run Helps Wildcats Win at Home Over SUNY Delhi.
March 27, 2019MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team earned a win over SUNY Delhi at home on Wednesday. The Wildcats and the Broncos played a close game right up until the fourth quarter when a run by the ‘Cats opened up the lead to six. The final score of the game was 14-10 in favor of SUNY Poly.

MLAX: Career Day For Rosaschi Leads Wildcats to a 16-13 Win Over Canton.
March 20, 2019MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team earned its second win of the season on Wednesday 16-13 over SUNY Canton. The Wildcats led by as many as six goals in the game, but the Roos would not go away easily, making the game interesting down the stretch with a 3-0 run in the fourth to bring the game within three goals. With the win, the Wildcats are now 2-4 in 2019.

March 12, 2019HAMPTON, VA. – The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team lost to Hampton University on Tuesday. The final score was 15-10 in favor of Hampton, but the Wildcats put up a great fight against the NCAA Division I opponent. The Wildcats are now 1-2 this season.

MLAX: Wildcats Lose Barn Burner Against Utica by One Goal.
March 02, 2019MARCY, N.Y. – The Wildcat men’s lacrosse team was just a pair of goals shy from their first ever win over Utica College. The Pioneers hot first quarter was just enough to outlast the Wildcats in a 13-12 barn burner. The loss gives the Wildcats a 1-1 season record.

MLAX: Wildcats Open Up 2019 With a Win Over Houghton.
February 28, 2019MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team earned their first win of 2019 on Thursday in a 13-6 win over the Houghton College Highlanders. The Wildcats controlled the flow of the game, winning 70% of their face-offs, scoring on 30% of their shots taken, and assisting on nine of their 13 goals. SUNY Poly also had an edge on defense, forcing 16 turnovers and scooping up 49 ground balls.

SUNY Poly Men's and Women's Lacrosse Home Openers Rescheduled.
February 26, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly home lacrosse games originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 27th have been postponed due to inclement weather. The men's lacrosse game against Houghton has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 28th at 6:00 PM. The women's lacrosse game against Utica College has been rescheduled for Wednesday March 6th at 4:00 PM. Both Games will still be played at SUNY Poly's Wildcat Field. Be sure to check our website for the most up-to-date schedules for all of the SUNY Poly teams.

MLAX: SUNY Poly Athletics Releases 2019 Men’s Lacrosse Schedule.
January 31, 2019MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has released the 2019 schedule for the Wildcat men’s lacrosse team. This year’s schedule features 15 games, nine at home and six on the road. The Wildcats open their season at home on Wednesday, February 27th against Houghton.
