CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s volleyball team traveled to SUNY Canton on Wednesday for a North Atlantic Conference matchup. The Kangaroos would win the game in straight sets, 3-0. With the loss, the Wildcats move to 2-19 on the season (0-6 in NAC play), while the Kangaroos improve to 5-16 (2-4 in NAC play).

WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) released the season awards for the 2022 season on Tuesday. The awards announced include All-Conference Teams, Sportsmanship Team, Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Senior Scholar-Athlete. The awards are voted on and selected by the NAC Head Coaches. The Wildcats received two awards; Emma Draper was voted to the NAC All-Conference Third Team and Sabrina Trimblett was named as the SUNY Poly representative on the Sportsmanship Team.

Cazenovia started strong by winning the first two sets 25-22 and 25-21 respectively. SUNY Poly bounced back in the third set, winning it 25-18 to extend the match. However, Cazenovia regained control in the fourth set, winning it 25-21 to secure the victory.

The Wildcats played their best set in the first, hitting .100 as a team, but lost the three sets thanks in large part to the serving of Wells who had 15 service aces in the three-setter. The Wildcats are now 0-12 this season.
