WVB: Draper and Trimblett Recognized by NAC With Postseason Awards.

WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) released the season awards for the 2022 season on Tuesday. The awards announced include All-Conference Teams, Sportsmanship Team, Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Senior Scholar-Athlete. The awards are voted on and selected by the NAC Head Coaches. The Wildcats received two awards; Emma Draper was voted to the NAC All-Conference Third Team and Sabrina Trimblett was named as the SUNY Poly representative on the Sportsmanship Team. 

Emma Draper was statistically the best player this season for the Wildcats. The senior led the Wildcats with 165 kills, a team-high .185 hitting percentage, and a team-high 31 service aces. She was also second on the team with 34 total blocks (13 solo and 21 assists) and was fifth with 107 digs. The All-Conference Award is the second of her career after earning 2nd Team honors last season.
