GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The NEAC announced the All-Conference Teams on Thursday. SUNY Poly was well represented in the voting. Junior forward Quayshaun Mitchell (Harlem, N.Y. / HS of Graphics Communication Arts) was voted to the NEAC All-Conference First Team, and freshman guard Peyton Griffiths (Milford, N.Y. / Milford Central School) was voted to the NEAC All-Conference Third Team.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team was able to advance to the NEAC final four on Tuesday with a convincing win over Wells College 71-49. Both teams came out of the gate cold, but as the Wildcats warmed up offensively, their defensive effort kept Wells in the rear-view. The Wildcats went into the locker room at the half up 14 and held the lead through the second half.
READING, PA. - The SUNY Poly men?s basketball team took on Penn State Berks for the second game of a two game road trip on Saturday. The Wildcats and the Nittany Lions battled back and forth for the first 14 minutes of the ball game, but a nice 13-0 run gave SUNY Poly the lead it needed. The Wildcats would go on to hold the lead to secure the 11 point victory 81-70.
LANCASTER, PA.- The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team traveled to Lancaster Bible on Friday to match up with the undefeated Chargers. The Wildcats got out to a great start, gaining an 11 point lead in the first four minutes of the game, but as their name suggests; the Chargers came charging back to overtake the Wildcats. The final score of the game was 86-64 in favor of Lancaster Bible.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team hosted Cazenovia on Wednesday in what turned out to be a hard-fought, physical win for SUNY Poly 87-81. Before the game the Wildcats took some time to honor the two graduating seniors from the team; Michael Boyea (Chateaugay, N.Y. / Chateaugay HS) and Shane Joswick (New York Mills, N.Y. / New York Mills Jr./Sr. HS).
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team won on Sunday in nail biting fashion 75-73 over Bryn Athyn. The Wildcats and Lions traded blows back and forth for much of the game, neither team being able to hold a lead. The lead changed hands 16 times in the game. The largest lead was eight points by Bryn Athyn early in the second half. The Wildcats battled back in the end and won thanks to a big three pointer with 10 ticks left on the clock.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team defeated Penn State Abington by 20 points on Saturday. The Wildcats played a good all-around game to take the lead early and never look back. The final score of the game was 80-60.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team dropped a NEAC divisional game to Morrisville State last night 73-52. The Wildcats got off to a slow start in the first half, but fought hard to get back in the game to end the first half. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the Mustangs continued their hot hand shooting in the second to outscore the Wildcats 34-22 to end up with the 21 point win.
COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team traveled to Cobleskill on Saturday in search of their seventh NEAC win of the season. The Wildcats would prevail in the matchup thanks to a big second half were they outscored the Fighting Tigers 46-27 to secure the win. The final score of the game was 81-59.
CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team lost to Cazenovia on Wednesday 73-65. The loss was a difficult one for the Wildcats as they led Cazenovia by ten points at the half. Cazenovia managed an 18 point swing to ultimately defeat SUNY Poly by eight.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team took on Penn College on Sunday in a NEAC Conference game. SUNY Poly was trailing through one half of play to Penn, but were able to gain the lead late in the second half and extend it to secure the win. Poly defeated Penn 88-78.
MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The Wildcat men’s basketball earned their fifth NEAC Conference win at Morrisville on Wednesday 71-61. SUNY Poly jumped out to a quick lead thanks to some great shooting from behind the arc. Four of the Wildcats first six baskets were three pointers, helping them jump out to an 18-9 lead. The Mustangs would battle back and take a two point lead, but the Wildcats timely shooting would gain back the lead and extend it to eight at the half. Poly took the halftime lead all the way to the finish line to secure the 10 point victory.
