MBB: Wildcats Defeated by the Undefeated Chargers 86-64.

LANCASTER, PA - The SUNY Poly men's basketball team traveled to Lancaster Bible on Friday to match up with the undefeated Chargers. The Wildcats got out to a great start, gaining an 11 point lead in the first four minutes of the game, but as their name suggests; the Chargers came charging back to overtake the Wildcats. The final score of the game was 86-64 in favor of Lancaster Bible.

Freshman Peyton Griffiths (Milford, N.Y. / Milford Central School) led the Wildcats on the offensive side with 22 points, four rebounds, an assist and a block. He shot 50 percent from the field and ended up at the line 12 times. Quayshaun Mitchell (Harlem, N.Y. / HS of Graphics Communication Arts) and Terrynce Wilson (Bronx, N.Y. / South Bronx HS) were the only other Wildcats to score in the double digits in the game. Mitchell has 11 points, seven rebounds, and an assist. Wilson had 10 points, five rebounds, and a steal off the bench.

For the Chargers Bryce Williams led all scorers with 25 points. He also had five assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Kurt Keltner had 17 points in his 30 minutes played.

The Wildcats record falls to 11-11 (10-4 NEAC) with the loss. The team will travel to Penn State Berks on Saturday to wrap up their NEAC weekend road trip. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 PM tip-off.
