The Soaring Eagles outshot the Wildcats 13-7, with their long goal coming from forward Lancia Alessandro at the 65th minute. The Wildcats are now 4-2 on the season, with a conference record of 0-1. -

Five Wildcats registered goals, including forward Dominick Spychalksi who scored twice in the matchup. This is the first time the Wildcats have gone unbeaten through their first four games since 2013 when the team started 3-0-1.

September 11, 2024Utica, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team remains unbeaten, after securing their third win of the season against the SUNY Canton Kangaroos by a score of 6-1. The Wildcats outshot the Kangaroos 31-8, with four different Wildcats scoring. Jhonny Theze and Thomas Nimineh led the charge with two goals each.

August 31, 2024New Paltz, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team picked up their second win of the season in as many days, defeating the SUNY New Paltz Hawks by a score of 1-0. Midfielder Jhonny Theze continued his impressive weekend, scoring his third goal of the weekend. The Wildcats will now have a week to prepare for their home opener vs SUNY Canton on September 11th.

Wildcats Win Season Opener on the Road
August 30, 2024The SUNY Poly Men’s Soccer team kicked off the season with a commanding 3-0 victory over the Sarah Lawrence Gryphons. Senior midfielder Jhonny Theze led the charge with two goals, while freshman JohnPaul Jerome added another to seal the win. The Wildcats will remain in New Paltz overnight and prepare to face the Hawks on August 31st.

MSOC: Mohamed Ali, Ryan, Tabbed to All-Region Teams.
December 11, 2023UTICA, N.Y.- The United Soccer Coaches announced that Abus Mohamed Ali and Kevin Ryan from SUNY Poly have been selected to the D3 All-Region Team for Region 1. Mohamed Ali was named to the second team, while Ryan was named to the third team. Both players were instrumental in the success of this year's SUNY Poly Men's Soccer team which won the North Atlantic Conference and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats drew Amherst College from Massachusetts in their first-round matchup. Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is the regional host and will have SUNY Poly, Amherst, and Stevens Institute of Technology in their bracket.

The winner of the game will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Broncos end their season with a record of 11-3-4.

Wakeley Banker Receives SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence.
May 02, 2023UTICA, NY - SUNY Poly men's soccer player Wakeley Banker received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence last week. He was one of two SUNY Poly students to earn the honor and he is the second SUNY Poly student-athlete in as many years to earn the most prestigious student awards in the SUNY system.
