  • SB: Wildcat Season Comes to an End in the First Round of the NEAC Post Season.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team lost to Keuka on Tuesday in a NEAC first round game 5-1. The game was lost in the fifth inning when Keuka scored five runs on a two-RBI single and a home run. The Wildcats would plate one in the bottom of the sixth, but it was not enough to keep their season alive. The Wildcats finished their 2019 season with an overall record of 14-19 with a NEAC record of 10-6.
  • SB: Wildcats Earn Two Important NEAC Wins Over Cazenovia on Senior Day.

    CLINTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team earned two wins over North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Cazenovia on Wednesday. The first game was a 9-8 slugfest that saw the Wildcats win on a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning. Game two saw the Wildcats win thanks to a big four-run second inning. SUNY Poly had 25 hits in the two games. They are now 14-18 this season with a 10-6 NEAC record. They currently are tied for second place in the NEAC’s North Division.  
  • SB: No-Hitter By Maiolo Helps Wildcats Take Two From Morrisville.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team took two games from the Morrisville State Mustangs on Monday in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. The Wildcat pitching was the highlight of the games, but the offense also put up 16 runs in the two games helping SUNY Poly improve to 8-6 in NEAC play. Kayla Maiolo (Brooklyn, N.Y.) threw a gem in game one, pitching five innings of no-hit softball. It was her first no-hitter at SUNY Poly.
  • SB: Rain Forces Wildcats to Reschedule Double-headers with Morrisville and Cazenovia.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has announced that the softball games against Morrisville this weekend have been postponed due to the inclement weather that passed through the Utica area on Friday. The Wildcats and the Mustangs were originally scheduled to play on Saturday, April 20th at 1:00 and 3:00 PM. The games have been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, April 22nd at 3:30 and 5:30 PM. The games against Cazenovia College have also been rescheduled. The games will now take place on Thursday, April 25th at 3:30 and 5:30 PM. The Wildcats will be celebrating senior day on Thursday with a small pre-game ceremony to honor the seniors from this years team.
  • SB: Wildcats Beaten by Berks in NEAC Play.

    CLINTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team was beaten twice in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play on Saturday 12-1 and 8-0 by Penn State Berks. The Wildcat offense struggled to get going in the games, managing only six hits as a team. The Wildcats are now 8-14 this season with a 5-5 NEAC record.
  • SB: Hines Records 100th Career Hit in Wildcat Sweep of Wells in NEAC Play.

    AURORA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team earned two wins over NEAC foe Wells College on Thursday to improve to 5-3 in Conference play. The Wildcats and the Express played a tight game one with the Wildcats earning a two-run win. Game two was a different story as the Wildcat offense came to life, forcing a five-inning mercy rule to complete the sweep. Taylor Hines (Mechanicville, N.Y.) had a memorable day, recording her 100th career hit in the game.
  • SB: Wildcats Split NEAC Double Header With Penn College.

    WILLIAMSPORT, PA. -  The SUNY Poly softball team split a pair of North Eastern Athletic Conference games with Penn College on Saturday. SUNY Poly won the first game 2-1 but lost game two 4 - 2. Both games were very close with great pitching and timely hitting. The Wildcats are now 4-12 this season with a 1-3 record in NEAC play.
  • SB: Shutout Pitching Performance by Penoyer Helps Wildcats Split at Elmira.

    ELMIRA, N.Y.-  The SUNY Poly softball team traveled to Elmira on Wednesday to take on the Soaring Eagles in a non-conference doubleheader. The Wildcats and the Eagles played a close game one with Elmira ultimately winning on a walk-off stolen base. The Wildcats bounced back in game two earning a 3-0 win on the back of a fantastic pitching performance by Jordan Penoyer (). The Wildcats are now 3-11 this season.
  • SB: Wildcats Drop First NEAC Games of the Season to Keuka.

    KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team stumbled in their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action of the season on Saturday against Keuka College. The Wildcats lost both games of the doubleheader to the Wolves. Game Two of the doubleheader was a rare no-hitter for Keuka College pitcher Whitney Tyler. The Wildcats are now 2-10 overall with a 0-2 record in NEAC play.
  • SB: Sunday's Double Header Against Wells Postponed.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department announced today that the SUNY Poly softball game originally scheduled for tomorrow, March 31st against Wells College has been postponed. The game has been  postponed due to scheduling conflicts and expected inclement weather. A makeup date for this game has not been announced at this point.
  • SB: Wildcats Split Day Two in Myrtle Beach to Earn Their First Win of 2019

    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. The SUNY Poly softball team looked to bounce back in their second day of action at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach. The Wildcats dropped both games on Sunday but bounced back on Monday, splitting the two games to earn their first win of 2019.
