MARCY, N.Y. – A spectacular season came to a close Tuesday afternoon for the SUNYIT Women’s Lacrosse Team. The Wildcats, who qualified for the NEAC Tournament in just their second season as a program, were defeated by Cazenovia 11-6.
ABINGTON, Pa. – In just the program’s second season, the SUNYIT Women’s Lacrosse Team (6-9, 5-4 NEAC) has qualified for the NEAC Championship Tournament after winning today at Penn St.-Abington, 12 to 6.

AURORA, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women’s Lacrosse Team (3-8, 2-3 NEAC) gave themselves a chance late in the game at Wells (6-5, 4-2 NEAC) on Saturday. With 14 seconds left the Wildcats took advantage of a prior turnover by the Express, taking it into Wells’ territory and forcing a free position attempt.
MARCY, N.Y. – It was certainly a tale of two halves on Wednesday, as a 5-5 game gave way to a 15-7 Morrisville victory in the second half. SUNYIT (3-7, 2-2 NEAC) was neck-and-neck with the NEAC-leading Mustangs for the first 30 minutes, but was outscored 10-2 in the second half in earning the loss.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The SUNYIT Women’s Lacrosse Team (0-2, 0-0 NEAC) fell to the Fighting Scots of Gordon College in their second and final game of their 2013 southern swing, 17-5. With the win Gordon improved to 2-0 while the Wildcats fall to 0-2.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The SUNYIT Women’s Lacrosse Team (0-1, 0-0 NEAC) lost in their season opener on Monday, 15-2 to FDU-Florham (3-3). The game highlighted the sometimes arbitrary nature of the early season for spring sports, as in just their first match of the season the Wildcats were pitted against a team with 5 games already under its belt.
UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Institutue of Technology women's lacrosse team will be holding its First Annual High School Lacrosse Clinic on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wildcat Field House on campus. The clinic, conducted by SUNYIT head coach Erynn Anderson, assistant coaches Erin Schurr and Kim Quartier and current SUNYIT players, is open to players ages 14-18, and high school seniors are welcome.
