Women's Lacrosse Grabs Road Win with 12-7 Victory over CSE
SOMERSET, N.J. - SUNYIT added another NEAC opponent to the win column on Saturday when they out-scored the College of Saint Elizabeth Screaming Eagles 12-7. CSE falls to 2-6 in the NEAC (6-7 overall), while the Wildcats improve to 4-4 in conference play (5-9 overall.)
Freshman standout Laura Tolbert and sophomore attacker Jenna Lashua rallied for four goals apiece on the day.
Junior midfielder Amanda Bohne added to the pile netting two as well as tallying three draw controls off the circle. 
Rounding out the scoring set for the Lady Wildcats were senior defender Caitlin Cottell and junior defender Jennifer Bullock who each had one, with Bullock's coming off of a free position opportunity.
Getting the win in the net was sophomore goalkeeper Cassidy Thompson who stopped eight out of 19 shots on target. This is now Thompson's fifth win of her inaugural season as GK.
The Wildcats finish out their regular season on the road when they take on NEAC foe Penn State Abington on Sunday April 28th.  Game time is set for a 4 p.m. start and will be played at the fields at Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, PA.
