Women’s Lacrosse Falls to League-Leading Keuka in Road Match

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women's Lacrosse Team lost on the road Sunday afternoon, 19-4 to host Keuka. The Storm, who are undefeated in conference play at 7-0, jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the first half and extended it in the second for the win. 

Taylor Smith led a balanced attack for Keuka with a game-high 5 goals. The Storm, however, had multiple weapons as eight different players registered a goal or more on the day.

For the Wildcats it was Laura Tolbert (Cicero, N.Y. / Cicero-North Syracuse) leading the way with 2 goals, while Taviot Jackowski (LaFayette, N.Y. / LaFayette) and Amanda Bohne (Clay, N.Y. / Cicero-North Syracuse) each added scores.

The Wildcats will be back in action on Wednesday for Senior Day, as they host the Cazenovia Wildcats at 7:00 pm.
