  • WSOC: Wildcats Drop Road Contest to Elmira

    The SUNY Poly women’s soccer team suffered their first conference loss of the season, falling to the Elmira Soaring Eagles 3-0. Goalkeepers Michalyn Fagan and Katie Bowers combined for 12 saves, but the Wildcats struggled to contain Elmira’s offense, which unleashed 21 shots. SUNY Poly’s record now stands at 4-2 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

    Utica, N.Y. - TThe SUNY Poly women’s soccer team earned their fourth win of the season with a dominant 5-0 victory over the Bryant and Stratton Bobcats. Hannah Shipley led the Wildcats with two goals on five shots. The Wildcats are now 4-1 on the season and will quickly begin preparing for Empire 8 conference play which begins next week.

    Utica, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s soccer team secured another home victory with a 2-0 win over the MCLA Trailblazers. The Wildcats showcased their offensive prowess with 14 shots, and goals from defender Madison Altamura and forward Kate Donnelly. This win improves SUNY Poly's record to 3-1 for the season.

    Potsdam, N.Y - The SUNY Poly women’s soccer team was handed their first loss of the season, after falling to the SUNY Potsdam Bears by a score of 5-2. Kate Donnelly and Aubree Smykla were the goal scorers for the Wildcats, while goalkeepers Katie Bowers and Michalyn Fagan combined to make 11 saves.
  • WSOC: Wildcats Top Kangaroos in Season Opener

    Utica, N.Y - The SUNY Poly Women’s soccer team got off on the right foot, winning their season opener by a score of 2-0 vs SUNY Canton. Graduate forward Kate Donnelly and Senior forward Hannah Shipley both picked up a goal for the Wildcats. Both Michalyn Fagan and Katie Bowers registered two saves in the contest. The Wildcats will now prepare for a quick turnaround as they are scheduled to square off with the Herkimer Generals on August 31st.
