  • MBB: Gregory and Canty Earn NEAC All-Conference Honors.

    LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2019-20 Men’s Basketball All-Conference selections, honoring the top 18 players in the league regardless of position. The First, Second and Third Team are each comprised of six players as selected by the conference coaches. The three individual award winners are also determined by coaches’ votes. The SUNY Poly Wildcats had two of their players named to the All-Conference Teams. Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) was a 1st team selection, Caleb Canty (Hudson, N.Y.) was a second-team selection.
  • MBB: Wildcats Stay Hot with Big Home Win Over Lancaster Bible.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team won a big NEAC game against Lancaster Bible on Saturday with playoff implications. The Wildcats started strong and kept their foot on the gas building a commanding lead going into halftime with a 44-21 lead. They held their lead through the second half to finish the 27 point win.

    WILLIAMSPORT, P.A. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team won another hard-fought game on the road. Coming off their four-overtime victory Wednesday the Wildcats went down to Penn College and came out with a 91-82 victory. SUNY Poly got off to an early lead in the first half and controlled the game as they went into the half up 56-51. They came out of half hot to keep control of the game and head back home with a crucial NEAC victory. The Wildcats currently have a 10-3 NEAC record and are tied with Morrisville State for the lead in the North Division.
  • MBB: Wildcats Win the Longest Game in Program History 115-110 Over Keuka in Quadruple Overtime.

    KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team’s first four-overtime game in program history ended in a win for the Wildcats on Wednesday 115-110 over North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Keuka College. The game was tightly played by both teams, with thrilling, last-second ties to end regulation and each of the first three overtimes. The win helps the Wildcats improve their NEAC North Division record to 7-2 which is tied with Morrisville for first place.

    MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team lost to Morrisville on Wednesday by just three points. The loss splits the season series between the Wildcats and Mustangs.     MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team won a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) North Division game against Keuka College on Saturday. The Wildcats started quickly building up to an 18 point lead in the first half. They went into the second half up 48-32 and would control the rest of the game. The final score of the game was 93-72. The Wildcats had five players in double figures including a pair of double-doubles by Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) and Caleb Canty (Hudson, N.Y.).

    COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team fell to the Cobleskill Fighting Tigers on Wednesday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game. The Wildcats were beaten 89-81 in the game. They are now 7-7 with a 4-2 NEAC record. Cobleskill improved to 11-4 with a 5-1 NEAC record.
  • MBB: Wildcats Earn North Division Win Over Morrisville at Home.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team earned an important NEAC North Division win over Morrisville State on Saturday 83-71. The Wildcats held the lead for the entire 40-minute game growing their lead slowly until the final buzzer. The key differences in the game were three-point shooting percentage, free throw percentage, and assists. The Wildcats held a solid edge in all three categories. Five Wildcats had double-digit scoring totals in the game.
  • MBB: SUNY Poly Earns NEAC Road Win at Rival Cazenovia 82-66.

    CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team earned their third NEAC win of the season on Wednesday in an 82-66 win at Cazenovia. The Wildcats went up early and never relinquished the lead. The Wildcats built their lead as high as 22 in the game, shooting 56% from the field. They knocked down a team-high 10 three-pointers in the win. SUNY Poly improved their record to 6-6 (3-1 NEAC) while Cazenovia falls to 4-9 (2-2 NEAC).
  • MBB: Kulakowski’s Last Second Layup Gives Wildcats NEAC Win Over Abington; Gregory Scores 1,000th Point.

    ABINGTON, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team improved to 2-1 in NEAC play on Sunday, winning the second of their two-game road trip in thrilling fashion over Penn State Abington. Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) became just the eighth member of the 1,000 point club at SUNY Poly in the game. Jake Kulakowski (Brewerton, N.Y.) hit the game-winning put-back layup with just two seconds left on the clock to complete what was an impressive comeback for SUNY Poly. The final score was 60-59. The Wildcats are now 5-6 this season.
  • MBB: SUNY Poly Beaten by Harrisburg on Day One of NEAC Road Trip.

    HARRISBURG, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team was beaten on Saturday in the first game of their two-game North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) road trip. The Wildcats struggled in the first half, allowing Harrisburgh to take a 13 point lead into the locker room at the half. The second half was played much closer, but SUNY Poly was unable to cut into the lead. The final score was 72-60 in favor of the Nittany Lions. The Wildcats are now 4-6 with a 1-1 NEAC record. Harrisburgh is 6-5 with a 2-0 record in NEAC play. 
  • MBB: Wildcats Finish 1-1 at Woodcliff Hotel and Spa Tournament

    Pittsford, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team traveled to Pittsford on Sunday to take part in the Woodcliff Hotel and Spa Tournament hosted by St. John Fisher. In the tournament which featured the Wildcats, St. John Fisher, Cortland, and Pitt.-Bradford SUNY Poly was matched up with the host Cardinals. The Wildcats lost in the first round by a score of 82-68 but answered that loss with a 22 point win over Pitt.-Bradford on day two. The Wildcats are now 4-5 this season. 
  • MBB: Wildcats Defend Home Court in NEAC Opener.

    MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team won in dominant fashion against North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent Penn State Berks. The Wildcats would score 10 unanswered points to open the game holding Berks scoreless for almost seven minutes. The Wildcats built a lead as high as 31 in the first half going into the break leading 43-15. SUNY Poly would go on to win by a score of 94-63.
  • MBB: Wildcats Fall to Cross Town Rival Pioneers at Home.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team lost a close 85-82 game against the Utica College Pioneers. The Wildcats played a strong first half going into the locker room up 42-36. The second half the Wildcat offense struggled as the Pioneer offense took off to build up a lead late to seal the game.
  • MBB: Wildcats Lose Close Game With Sage.

    ALBANY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team lost a tight game on the road on Saturday to non-conference opponent Sage College. The Wildcats and the Gators played a close game, trading the lead eight times in the 40 minute game. SUNY Poly led by as much as seven points midway through the first half, but Sage would turn the deficit upside down, taking a seven-point lead themselves with three minutes left in the first half. The final score of the game was 65-63. The Wildcats fell to 2-2 this season while the Gators improved to 4-2.
  • MBB: Wildcats Win Home Opener 71-54 Over Plattsburgh.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s basketball team took down Plattsburgh St. on Thursday in the Wildcat’s home opener 71-54. The Wildcats played a great game on both sides of the ball. The Wildcats shot 40% from the field and knocked down four three-pointers en route to the 17 point win. The win was the Wildcats second consecutive against the Cardinals and third in the last 10 years.
