HARRISBURG, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men's basketball team was beaten on Saturday in the first game of their two-game North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) road trip. The Wildcats struggled in the first half, allowing Harrisburgh to take a 13 point lead into the locker room at the half. The second half was played much closer, but SUNY Poly was unable to cut into the lead. The final score was 72-60 in favor of the Nittany Lions. The Wildcats are now 4-6 with a 1-1 NEAC record. Harrisburgh is 6-5 with a 2-0 record in NEAC play. 

 

NOTABLES: 

  • Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) had a team-high 17 points for the Wildcats. He also had a game-high seven rebounds and a team-high six assists. The 17 point performance is the 10th game this season where Gregory has scored 10 or more points. 

  • Kievonn Banks (Rochester, N.Y.) scored nine points in the game. He also had four rebounds and two assists. 

  • Tyshaun Copper (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had eight points in 14 minutes off the bench for the Wildcats. 

  • Harrisburg's Nate Curry had a game-high 19 points for the Nittany Lions. 

  • Chris Haynes scored 18 points for Harrisburg. He also had a team-high three assists. 

  • Dylan Daniels had 16 points and five rebounds for Harrisburg. 

  • Zegary Scott III had a game-high nine assists in the game. 

 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will take on Penn State Abington on Sunday to wrap up their two-game road trip. The game is scheduled for a 12:00 PM start in Abington Pennsylvania.
