MBB: Gregory and Canty Earn NEAC All-Conference Honors. 

LATHAM, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2019-20 Men's Basketball All-Conference selections, honoring the top 18 players in the league regardless of position. The First, Second and Third Team are each comprised of six players as selected by the conference coaches. The three individual award winners are also determined by coaches' votes. The SUNY Poly Wildcats had two of their players named to the All-Conference Teams. Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) was a 1st team selection, Caleb Canty (Hudson, N.Y.) was a second-team selection.

 

Josh Gregory was named to the NEAC All-Conference First Team after leading the Wildcats in both points and rebounds this season. The junior averaged 18.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. He had 12 double-doubles, joined the 1,000 point club, and was a NEAC player of the week on January 20th. It is his second time on the NEAC First Team. 

 

Caleb Canty was a NEAC All-Conference Second Team Selection after averaging 14.4 points, four assists and 1.4 steals per game. The junior was a work-horse for the Wildcats, playing a team-high 33.4 minutes per game.
