Three SUNYIT Athletes Honored at Utica Kiwanis LuncheonMay 09, 2012UTICA, N.Y. – The 24th Annual Recognition Luncheon to honor Student Athletes of the Year took place at the Radisson Hotel in Utica, N.Y., today, as hosted by the Utica Kiwanis Club. The annual award recognizes student-athletes from area colleges for their outstanding performance as both students and athletes. This year 11 student-athletes from Herkimer, Mohawk Valley, Utica, SUNYIT, and Hamilton colleges were honored.

SUNYIT Home Doubleheader on Saturday Moved Up to 10:00 amApril 20, 2012MARCY, N.Y. - The baseball doubleheader with Lancaster Bible College originally scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm this Saturday (4/21) has been moved up to 10:00 am due to weather concerns. Both games will still be held at Wildcat Field on the SUNYIT Campus as originally scheduled.

Baseball Sweeps First Three Conference Games, 4th Game Postponed (Rain)April 01, 2012MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Baseball Team (4-15, 3-0 NEAC) opened up conference play with a trio of much-needed victories over the weekend: 9-7 and 6-3 over Gallaudet on Saturday, and 6-5 over Penn St.-Harrisburg in what turned out to be Sunday’s only game due to rain in the afternoon.

Big 8th Inning Leads Cortland St. Over SUNYIT, 14-3March 27, 2012UTICA, N.Y. –The SUNYIT Men’s Baseball Team (1-15, 0-0 NEAC) dropped their first true home game of the season Tuesday afternoon, 14-3 to nationally-ranked Cortland State (14-5). The Wildcats were neck-and-neck with the Red Dragons until a five-run 8th inning blew the game open for the visitors.
