MARCY, N.Y. – SUNYIT freshman catcher Anthony Ragosta (Troy, N.Y. / Troy), a first-year Civil Engineering student, recently won a $1,500 scholarship from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Ragosta served this year as president of the SUNYIT Student Chapter of ASCE, and was presented with the check from the ASCE Syracuse Section at the group's annual meeting on May 22^nd.

Ragosta had a great year behind the plate for the Wildcats this season as well, starting in 29 games as a first-year while batting .302 and placing second on the team in doubles with seven.
