  • SB: Wildcats Fall 3-1 in Season Series With Delhi.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team hosted a four-game series with SUNY Delhi this weekend, the first home series of 2021 for the Wildcats. The Wildcats split with the Broncos on day one, losing game one in extra innings, but bouncing back to win game two. Sunday did not go as well for the ‘Cats. They dropped both games to the Broncos. The Wildcats are now 6-6 this season with a 5-5 North Atlantic Conference Record.  
  • SB: Wildcats Take Two From Canton on the Road.

    CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team earned their first doubleheader sweep of the season on Saturday over North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opponent SUNY Canton. The Wildcats won game one 4-2 and game two 15-6. Game one was a pitcher’s duel between Caitlin Reilly and Canton’s Kayla Chavarri. Reilly threw a complete game with six strikeouts and allowed just two runs. Chavarri struck out 14 and allowed just six hits. Game two was a different story entirely. The Wildcat offense came out of the gate hot and cruised to a mercy-rule win. 
  • SB: Wildcats Complete Season Sweep of Canton 8-0, 19-5.

    CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team completed the season sweep of SUNY Canton on Sunday with two North Atlantic Conference (NAC) wins. Both games were mercy rules with SUNY Poly winning game one 8-0 in five innings and game two 19-5 in five innings. The 19 run output was the Wildcat’s offensive total this season. SUNY Poly is now 5-3 this season with a 4-2 record in the NAC. 
  • SB: Wildcats Fall to Cazenovia in NAC Opening Doubleheader.

    CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball team dropped two games to Cazenovia on Wednesday in their first two North Atlantic Conference (NAC) games of the season. The Wildcat offense struggled to get going and was unable to give the run support needed to earn a win. The score of the first game was 5-1. The second game was 8-0.
  • SB: Wildcats Voted #3 in the NAC West Division Pre-season Poll.

    Waterville, Maine - The SUNY Poly softball team has been voted the #3 team in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) West Division Pre-season Poll. The poll seedings were determined through a nomination and voting process that was completed by the NAC coaches last week. SUNY Poly received 12 total points, tying them with SUNY Canton for the number three spot in the West Division.  
  • SB: Saturday's Softball Game Against Cazenovia Postponed. Rescheduled for 4/14/21.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball game originally scheduled for Saturday, April 3rd at Cazenovia has been postponed due to weather and field conditions. The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 14th at Cazenovia.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly softball game on Thursday, April 1st has been postponed due to inclement weather and poor field conditions. The game will be rescheduled and played at a later date. 
  • SB: Wildcats Split Season Opener With Utica College.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The season opened up for the SUNY Poly softball team on Saturday with a bang. The Wildcats bats came out swinging, scoring 14 runs on 15 hits to give the ‘Cats their first win off the 2021 season. Game two would not go the same way for the Wildcats as eight hits only created one run for the offense while the pitching and defense could not keep the Pioneers off the scoreboard. The Wildcats lost game two 9-1 to finish up the afternoon with a split.
  • WILDCATS ARE BACK! NAC AND SUNY APPROVE SPRING SPORT COMPETITIONS FOR 2021 SEASON.

    MARCY, NY - After more than one full calendar year, the Wildcats will be back in action beginning on Saturday, March 20th. SUNY Poly Men’s Lacrosse, Softball, and Baseball will begin their modified spring schedules later this month with COVID restrictions and rules that will limit risk of exposure for student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
