READING, Pa. – Just as they did a season ago, the SUNY Poly Softball Team fell to the Phoenix of Wilson College in the first round of the NEAC Tournament on Friday. The Wildcats lost by a nearly identical score too, succumbing 6-4 to the #2-seeded team out of the NEAC South Division (they lost 6-5 last year).
GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Four members of the 2015 SUNY Poly Softball Team were selected to the NEAC All-Conference Team on Thursday. The Wildcats, who are headed to Pennsylvania for the first round of the NEAC Tournament hosted by Penn State Berks, garnered two 1st Team selections and two 2nd Team selections.

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Softball Team (4-10, 2-2 NEAC) rebounded from its tough 1-0 loss a day ago to the Continentals of Hamilton with a sweep of the Morrisville Mustangs (5-14, 2-9 NEAC).
UPDATE: The SUNY Poly vs. Hamilton softball game will now in all likelihood be canceled. The two teams are still working on a last-minute solution to salvage a single game, which would be played under the lights at Utica College at roughly 7 pm.
COBLESKILL, N.Y. - On Saturday afternoon the SUNY Polytechnic Wildcats and the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers renewed a rivalry that has played a major role in recent North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) North Division championship races over the past several season. In their first meeting of the 2015 season it was the host Fighting Tigers coming out on top sweeping the Wildcats by scores of 10-7 and 11-3 at Fighting Tiger Park.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – A day after struggling at the plate, the SUNY Poly Softball Team (0-4) started seeing the ball better with 6 runs in the first game and 5 in the second. Unfortunately the opposing teams felt inclined to take their at-bats as well, outscoring SUNY Poly 23-11 on the day.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The SUNY Polytechnic Softball Team (0-2) shook the rust off on Monday with their first game action of the 2015 season. In their first chance on the diamond the team fell to the Nittany Lions of Penn St.-Harrisburg by a score of 11 to 1 in five innings, and were bested by the state of Virginia’s Bridgewater College in the afternoon, 5-1.
