Four Wildcats Named to NEAC Softball All-Conference Team

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Four members of the 2015 SUNY Poly Softball Team were selected to the NEAC All-Conference Team on Thursday. The Wildcats, who are headed to Pennsylvania for the first round of the NEAC Tournament hosted by Penn State Berks, garnered two 1st Team selections and two 2nd Team selections.

Headlining the group was pitcher Fallon Reinold (Holland Patent, N.Y. / Holland Patent), who received her third-straight All-NEAC 1st Team Selection. Reinold led the Wildcats on the mound with an 8-8 record while occupying the team's leadoff spot in the batting order and playing centerfield when not pitching.

Reinold was joined by her battery mate Danielle Witchley (New Hartford, N.Y. / New Hartford), who earned her first all-conference nod after a tremendous season in which she led the team with 12 doubles.

Finally, the All-NEAC 2nd Team featured senior Abby Black (Turin, N.Y. / South Lewis), who received her first all-conference honor in her two-year career with the Wildcats. Black hit .350 and led SUNY Poly with 23 RBI's.

She was joined by senior Krista Pristera (New Hartford, N.Y. / New Hartford), who capped a brilliant 4-year career for the Wildcats with her 3rd consecutive selection to a NEAC All-Conference Team.
