MVB: Wildcats Take Down Bard 3-1 in NECC Play.

ANNANDALE, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's volleyball team claimed a 3-1 victory over NECC opponent Bard College on Thursday night. SUNY Poly won with scores of 25-18, 25-18, 28-30, and 25-19, improving their record to 9-13 with a 3-2 NECC record this season.

 

The Wildcats dominated the first two sets, with a hitting percentage of .333 in the first set and .619 in the second. Bard managed to stay in the game by winning the third set, but SUNY Poly rallied to take the fourth set and the match.

 

SUNY Poly's Jason Aubrey led the team with 17 kills, while Kohei Clark added 12 kills and six aces. Nathan Farnham recorded 52 assists, five digs, and three blocks, and Jordan Weir contributed 11 kills and four blocks.

 

For Bard, Ty McGlynn had a team-high 15 kills and two blocks, while Angel Obergh had five kills, six digs, and two aces.

 

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats will wrap up their season on Saturday with a NECC match at SUNY Potsdam. The match is scheduled for a 4:30 start.
