MVB: Wildcats Beaten 3-0 by Lasell on the Road.

 

 

AUBURNDALE, Mass. - SUNY Poly men's volleyball lost to Lasell on Saturday 3-0. The first two sets were dominated by Lasell with scores of 25-19 and 25-8, respectively. In the third set, SUNY Poly put up a fight, but Lasell still won with a score of 25-22 to earn their 7th win of the season.

 

In terms of team statistics, Lasell had a better hitting percentage than SUNY Poly throughout the game. In the first set, Lasell had an attacking percentage of .370 compared to SUNY Poly's .174. In the second set, Lasell's attacking percentage was .556, while SUNY Poly's was -.059. In the third set, SUNY Poly improved their attacking percentage to .143, but Lasell still had a higher percentage of .333. Lasell also had 8.5 total blocks to Poly's four.

 

Individually, Jordan Shinaut from Lasell was the top scorer of the game with 17 kills and a .727 attacking percentage. David Massa, also from Lasell, contributed nine kills and three aces. James Mion from SUNY Poly had nine kills. Jason Aubrey had seven kills and one of the Wildcat's two aces.
