MVB: Wildcats Drop Two at New Paltz Tri-Match.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -  The SUNY Poly men's volleyball team lost to Ramapo 3-0 and SUNY New Paltz 3-0 on Saturday at a tri-match hosted by New Paltz. The Wildcats lost the first match to Ramapo 26-28, 22-25, 15-25, and lost to New Paltz 13-25, 21-25, 20-25. SUNY Poly is now 1-8 this season 

 

NOTABLE POLY PERFORMANCES - RAMAPO: 

  • Garrett Hassard had a team-high 10 kills in the match. He also had a match-high three solo blocks, a block assist, and a service ace. 

  • Jason Aubrey had six kills and four digs. 

  • Jacob Wicher had a match-high 10 digs. 

  • Nathan Farnham had 27 assists, three block assists, and six digs. 

 

NOTABLE POLY PERFORMANCES - NEW PALTZ: 

  • Jason Aubrey had a team-high seven kills, four digs, and a service ace in the match.

  • Kohei Clark had five kills, four digs, and a solo block. 

  • Nathan Farnham had a team-high seven digs and 19 assists. 

  • James Mion had a team-high two solo blocks and three kills. 

 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will head to Rochester on Saturday, February 12th to take part in the 2022 Golden Flyer Invitational. During the event, hosted by Nazareth and St. John Fisher, the Wildcats will take on Nazareth, Theil, and Baldwin Wallace over a two-day stretch.
