The goal of this commitment is to encourage the student-athlete to develop and pursue career and life goals. Areas of focus include the proper use of available career services, including the development of proper interview skills and resume writing techniques. The use of alumni events and development of internships are other key components of career development. Activities in this area include:

• Development of alumni connections with our student-athletes during Wildcat Weekend.
• Coordination of activities with the career center on campus to aid students in resume writing, interviewing techniques, and searching for job opportunities.
• Attendance at SUNY Poly's career fair, with over 100 employees available to speak with our students about job opportunities and to perform on-site interviews.
