GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Women's Cross Country team came in 14th overall with a score of 424 points at the Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29th. SUNY Poly freshmen Lauren Phetteplace (Cortland, N.Y.) finished first for the Wildcats in 44th with a time of 24:28.7.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lauren Phetteplace was the lone Wildcat to finish in the top 100.
- Jalize Mejia-Perez (Bronx, N.Y.) was the second finisher for the Wildcats, followed closely by Molly Burdick (Johnson City, N.Y.).
- SUNY Geneseo won the race with an overall score of 17. Their score was 55 points better than the second place team.
