COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's cross country team placed ninth this Saturday at the 2016 Steven A. Warde Invitational hosted by SUNY Cobleskill. The Wildcats scored a total of 214 points in the race.

Rebeca LaPorte (New Hartford, N.Y.) was the Wildcats top finisher. She placed 24^th with a time of 22:00.58. Kiersten Albertson (Kirkville, N.Y.) placed 35^th and was the second Wildcat to cross the line with a time of 23:05.32.  The Wildcats top five placed 23^rd, 33^rd, 49^th, 51^st, and 58^th.

The Wildcats will be back in action next week when they travel to Johnson State for an invitational on the 17^th of September. The meet is scheduled for a 10:00 AM start.
