WVB: Wildcats Fall to Delhi in Season Finale.

DELHI, N.Y. - The SUNY Delhi volleyball team defeated SUNY Poly 3-1 in a North Atlantic Conference match. The set scores were 25-9, 25-20, 15-25, and 25-18. SUNY Poly dropped to 0-8 in conference play and 0-25 overall.

 

SUNY Poly struggled with their attack throughout the match, posting a team attack percentage of only .038 over the four sets. Emma Draper led the team with 13 kills, while Ryan Fitzgerald added 7 kills and 3 service aces. Michaela Bradshaw had 18 assists and 2 service aces, and Sabrina Trimblett contributed 9 digs. SUNY Poly's defense managed only 3 blocks and 4 points from the service line.

 

In contrast, SUNY Delhi had a solid offensive performance, led by Stephanie Burke with 9 kills and 4 service aces, and Sage Renneisen with 11 kills. Jaiden Venute had 27 assists and 1 service ace, and Rebecca Heuler contributed 20 digs. SUNY Delhi's defense also recorded 2 blocks and 7 points from the service line.
