WVB: Wildcats Beat Hilbert 3-0 on the Road.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's volleyball team beat Hilbert on Friday in straight sets 25-9, 25-11, 25-13. The Wildcats set the tone, hitting over .300 in a big first set win, and went on to dominate the rest of the match. The win was their third of the season. The Wildcats are now 3-7 this season. 

 

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES: 

  • Emma Draper had one of her best matches of the season. The Junior racked up a match-high eight kills on 17 swings. She hit a respectable .353 with a pair of service aces, three digs, and a block assist. 

  • Brennah Durfee had a career-high seven kills on 14 swings. 

  • Michaela Bradshaw had a match-high and career-high five service aces in the match for the Wildcats. 

  • Kaley Pichura had 18 assists in the match and had a team-high eight digs. Pichura also had three kills, hit a team-high .375, and had three service aces. 

  • Ryan Fitzgerald had four kills, three aces, five digs, and a block assist. 

  • Maria Spinelli had a team-high three kills for Hilbert. Kayleigh Chudoba had a match-high nine digs for Hilbert. 

 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will travel to Morrisville State to play a tri-match with the Mustangs and the Keuka College Wolves. The Wildcat's matches are scheduled for 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
