WVB: Wildcats Take Down Hilbert at Home in Straight Sets.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Women's Volleyball team took down non-conference foe Hilbert in straight sets on Saturday (25-18, 25-14, 25-15). The Wildcats move to 6-9 overall with the victory.

 

NOTABLES:

  •  The Wildcats had a strong showing from behind the service line in the victory as they recorded a season-high 14 service aces.

  • Emma Draper (North Chili, N.Y.) had an outstanding match for SUNY Poly as she totaled seven kills, four service aces, and two blocks.

  • Janessa Rubino (Westmoreland, N.Y.) recorded a career-high four service aces, including two consecutive aces to finish the match.

  • Karlie King (Liverpool, N.Y.) and Makayla Hulett (Colonie, N.Y.) each had nine kills in the match. King added 11 digs.

  • Kaley Pichura (Syracuse, N.Y.) had a solid all-around match as she recorded 26 assists, three kills, three service aces, and seven digs.

 

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats will look to continue their winning ways as they host NEAC rival Wells College on Thursday, October 10th. The match is set to begin at 7:00 pm in the Wildcat Field House.
