WVB: Wildcats Fall to Morrisville in Straight Sets

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats took on the Mustangs of SUNY Morrisville in their first home match of the season on Saturday. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, Morrisville proved to be too much as they took the match in three sets (25-12, 25-17, 25-11). With the loss, SUNY Poly moves to 4-10 overall and 2-1 in NEAC play.

 

NOTABLES:

  • Karlie King (Liverpool, N.Y.) led SUNY Poly with seven kills on a .467 kill percentage.

  • Emma Draper (North Chili, N.Y.) had four kills with an attack percentage of .300 to go along with a service ace.

  • Makayla Hulett (Colonie, N.Y.) totaled six kills for the Wildcats.

  • Megyan Merrill had a match high 22 kills as well as three service aces to lead SUNY Morrisville.

 

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats will look to bounce back on Saturday October 5th when they take on Hilbert College. The match is set to begin at 11:00am in the Wildcat Fieldhouse.
