WSOC: Wildcats Drop Season Opener at Delhi.

DELHI, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly women's soccer team fell to Delhi in their season opener on the road. The Broncos got up big in the first half and never looked back scoring 5 unanswered goals in their 6-1 victory. 

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES 

  • Kelsey Innes led all players with three goals on five shots on goal for Delhi.

  • SUNY Poly's lone goal in the game was scored by Shannon Harrison (Holland Patent, N.Y.) in the 53rd minute. The goal was assisted by Sarah George (Dolgeville, N.Y.).

  • Felicia Bianca (Guilderland, N.Y.) had a game high ten saves in goal for Poly.

  • Delhi's Rachael Scoones got her first win of the year, tallying five saves. 

UP NEXT

The Wildcats will be back in action Saturday, September 14th when they hit the road to take on NEAC opponent Cazenovia College. The game is set for a 3:00 start.
