WLAX: Charles Rosaschi Hired to Lead Wildcat Women’s Lacrosse.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Charles Rosaschi as the Head Coach of the Wildcat women's lacrosse team.

Chuck has been with the Wildcats since 2017-18 first as a payer on the men's lacrosse team as a standout goalkeeper and attackman. He played his first two seasons of college lacrosse at Herkimer County Community College. He currently plays for the Utica Yeti in the IBLA.

Rosaschi joined the coaching staff at SUNY Poly upon his graduation in the 2020 season and helped the Wildcats to a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship and NCAA Bid in 2021. Before coaching at SUNY Poly, Chuck discovered his passion for coaching on the youth lacrosse circuit in the Utica area.

"Chuck has been a part of the SUNY Poly Wildcats community as a student-athlete, as an assistant men's lacrosse coach, and as a valued member of our event management team. He has shown that he is reliable, has a strong work ethic, and has a solid working relationship with members on staff," said SUNY Poly Athletic Director Megan Valentine. "Chuck has demonstrated a commitment to growing and further developing our women's lacrosse program, and we are looking forward to continuing this progression under his leadership.

"I am very excited to join an athletic department and a program with championship pedigree," said Rosaschi. "my goal is to bring us back to that level of competition. Chasing that goal and creating a great culture with our women's lacrosse program is such an exciting prospect to me, I can't wait to get to work."
