WBB: Wildcat Win Streak Alive and Well at 14 Games.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team stayed undefeated in conference play with a win against Lancaster Bible on Saturday. The Wildcats got off to a fast start and never looked back building up 42-27 lead at the half. After the break, the Wildcats kept control of the game to finish up a 81-52 win.

 

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

  • SUNY Poly was led by senior Kiersten Leos (North Bay, N.Y.) with a game-high 16 points. She hit four three-pointers in the game, had five rebounds, a pair of assists, and a steal.
  • Molly Burdick (Johnson City, N.Y.) was a rebound and two assists away from a triple-double. She recorded 14 points, four steals, and a pair of blocks.
  • Jaida Washington (Elmira, N.Y.) had another double-digit point total scoring 14 points for the 'Cats. She also added four boards, three blocks, a pair of assists, and two steals.
  • Christine Graves lead the way for the Chargers with a double-double dropping 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. She also added three steals and an assist.
  • Lizzy Tilton scored 11 for Lancaster-Bible while adding six rebounds, an assist, and a steal. 

 

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats will be back in action for their regular-season finale and Senior Day against Gallaudet in the Campus Center Gym. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 PM with Senior Day festivities before the game.
