WBB: Wildcats Stay Undefeated in NEAC Play.

MARCY, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly women's basketball team won big against the Keuka College Wolves on Saturday. The game was a defensive and physical one and the Wildcats were able to win a hard-fought 65-46 victory.  The Wildcats had three players in double figures lead by junior Jadia Washington (Elmira, N.Y.) with a big performance in conference play.

 

NOTABLES:

  • The charge for the Wildcats was lead by Jadia Washington with 16 points, eight rebounds, and five blocks.
  • Senior Taylor Aybar (Woodside, N.Y.) had 13 points and seven steals. She also added five boards on the day
  • Kiersten Leos (North Bay, N.Y.) added 10 points to the SUNY Poly effort. She also had three steals, three assists, and two rebounds.
  • Sam Laranjo lead Keuka in scoring with 13 points and seven boards.
  • The Wildcats lead the game in shooting, rebounds, and turnovers. They shot 41.4% from the field and 35% from three. They outrebounded the Wolves 40-34 and won the turnover battle 21-13.
