CAZENOVIA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team rattled off their third consecutive North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win on Wednesday at Cazenovia 63-58. SUNY Poly and Cazenovia played a tightly contested game that saw six ties and four lead changes. The first quarter saw both of the largest leads of the game with Cazenovia going up five points early and SUNY Poly taking a seven-point lead late in the quarter. The rest of the game was a battle as neither team could carve out a distinctive edge. The win brings the Wildcat season record to 6-7 (4-0 NEAC). Cazenovia's loss has them at 3-10 with a 1-3 NEAC record.

NOTABLES:

• Kiersten Leos (North Bay, N.Y.) found her groove in Wednesday's game scoring a season-high 19 points. She also found the touch from beyond the arc, knocking down a season-high four three-pointers. Leos finished the game with a game-high four steals, two assists, and a rebound.
• Molly Burdick (Johnson City, N.Y.) had 15 points, marking her eighth time this season with 10 or more points and her sixth straight game with 12 or more points. Burdick also had a game-high 12 rebounds to notch her fourth double-double of the season.
• Taylor Ann Day (Brooktondale, N.Y.) had 11 points in the Wildcat win. The junior also grabbed eight rebounds and had a block in the game.
• Jaida Washington (Elmira, N.Y.) finished the game one rebound short of a double-double. The senior had 10 points, nine rebounds, three steals, two assists, and a block.
• Cassidy Albright (New York Mills, N.Y.) had three points and nine rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench for the 'Cats. She also had an assist.
• Danielle Calvana had a game-high 21 points for Cazenovia. She also had five rebounds and two assists.
• Amy Holland had 12 points, four rebounds, an assist, and a steal for Caz.
• Lucia Liverio had a team-high 11 rebounds for Cazenovia. She also had five assists and three points.

The Wildcats will host NEAC rival Morrisville State on Saturday, January 18th. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 PM tip-off at SUNY Poly's Campus Center Gym. The Mustangs enter the game with a 8-5 record. They are tied for first with SUNY Poly in the north division.
