WBB: Wildcats Fall to Hamilton in Home Opener.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball was beaten by Hamilton on Tuesday in their home opener by a score of 85-39. The Wildcats struggled to get anything going on offense in the game shooting just 28% from the floor. The Continentals improved their season record to 2-0 with the win while the Wildcats fall to 0-1.

 

NOTABLES:

  • Jaida Washington () had a team-high 12 points for the Wildcats. She also had nine rebounds, a team-high three blocks, and a steal.
  • Kayla Prosinski () had eight points off the bench for the Wildcats in 13 minutes played.
  • Kelcie Zarle had a game-high 17 points for the Continentals. She shot 50% from the floor and had three assists.
  • Carly O'Hern and Emma Sehring had 11 and 10 points respectively. O'Hern had six rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Sehring had a game-high four assists, five rebounds, and three steals.
  • Claire Sehring had a game-high 11 rebounds for Hamilton. She also had eight points, three blocks, and three steals.

The Wildcats will face Hamilton again on Friday, November 22nd in the first round of the 2019 Plattsburgh Cardinal Classic. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 PM tip-off.
