MARCY, N.Y. - With the win by the Wildcats in the NEAC Championship tournament, the team secured a bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The Wildcats are matched up with Montclair State, the host of the first and second round of the tournament. The first game for the Wildcats is scheduled for 7:00 PM in Montclair New Jersey.

Montclair will be a tough opponent for the Wildcats. The Red Hawks have averaged 65 points this season and are shooting 38% from the field. They have shot nearly 38% from three point land and are hitting the boards for an average of 40 rebounds per game. The Wildcats are averaging 66.9 points and 43 rebounds per game this season. They have shot 41% from the field and 35% from three point range.

This will be the Wildcats first trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning their first ever NEAC Championship. On the contrary, Montclair State has valuable experience in the NCAA Tournament. Last season the team made the Final Four before falling to George Fox. The Red Hawks have won the NJAC Title for the past four seasons.

The SUNY Poly community will be hosting a send-off ceremony for the Wildcats on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM in the Kunsela Hall Lobby. All are welcome to give our girls the send-off that they deserve.
