WBB: Stevie Ray's 19 Points Lead the Wildcats to a Win at Penn College.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team took on Penn College in a NEAC Conference matchup on Sunday that ended with a big 77-54 win for SUNY Poly. The Wildcats got off to a strong start, scoring 55 points in the first half and holding Penn College to just 24 points.

Stevie Ray (Syracuse, N.Y. / Fabius-Pompey HS) led SUNY Poly with 19 points, six steals, three assists, and two rebounds. She shot 54% from the field and 50% from three point land.

Lauren Knowles (Salisbury Mills, N.Y. / Washingtonville HS) had yet another double-double; her seventh of the season. Knowles shot 55% from the floor to record 11 points. She hit the boards for 11 rebounds, recorded three blocks, two steals, and an assist.

Newcomer Shelbey Kralik (Albany, N.Y. / Holy Cross Secondary School) provided a spark off the bench for Poly. She had 10 points off the bench for the Wildcats. She hit 3-6 from behind the three point line, and grabbed two rebounds in 10 minutes played.

The Wildcats improve their record to 10-4 (7-0 NEAC) with the win. The team will be back in action on Wednesday night in Cazenovia where they will look to improve to 8-0 in NEAC Conference play. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM tip-off.
