MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNYIT Women's Basketball Team (7-4, 4-0 NEAC) will take on two conference teams this weekend. Saturday the Wildcats will square off against the Wilson College Phoenix (0-6, 0-3 NEAC) in an afternoon game at 3pm. SUNYIT's overall record against the Phoenix is 6-0. SUNYIT is coming off of three big wins hoping to keep the momentum going with Deasia Goodson , NEAC ranked 4th for rebounds per game, and Tierney McGlynn who is ranked 3rd in the conference for 3 Point Percentage, over the Phoenix's Vanessa Whitfield, NEAC's 2nd in points per game.
On Sunday SUNYIT hosts the St. Elizabeth Screaming Eagles (8-4, 4-1 NEAC) for an afternoon matchup at 1pm. The Wildcats will attempt to contain the Screaming Eagles' Kelly O'Dell who is conference ranked 5th in rebounds per game, Danesha Triplett who is ranked 2nd in Field Goal Percentage, and Ashley Pledger who is ranked 5th in the conference for 3pt percentage.
