MVB: Wildcats Beat Penn State Altoona 3-0 to Advance to the NEAC Finals.

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Wildcats have advanced to the NEAC Final with a 3-0 win over Penn State Altoona on Saturday (25-21, 25-22, 25-21). The Wildcats hit .287 en route to the win and had three players hit better than .300 and had three with double digit kills.

The Wildcats were led by A.J. Davids (Hilton, N.Y.) who had a match high 14 kills in the match. He also had a service ace, two digs, and a block assist in the match.

Nick Hagen (Hilton, N.Y.) played a fantastic match for the Wildcats. The junior hit .625 with 12 kills. He took 16 swings and made just two attack errors. Hagen also had a match high four total blocks (three block assists, one block solo), and a service ace.

Zach Goggin (Feeding Hills, Mass.) had a match high 39 assists, 10 digs, and a kill in the match. Ryan Gloff (Brockport, N.Y.) had 10 kills on 23 swings. He had a match high three service aces and six digs.
