NEAC Conference Game vs. Abington Ends in a Draw (0-0) in 2OT.

HORSHAM, Pa. – The SUNYIT Men's Soccer team traveled to Pennsylvania to square off against NEAC rival Penn. State Abington on Saturday. The game ended in a scoreless draw after 90 minutes of regulation and 2 overtime periods. The teams matched up nearly evenly statistically and thanks to some good defense and goalkeeping, they were able to keep one another off the scoreboard.

Neither team was able to get anything going offensively. The two teams only combined for only 6 shots on goal. The SUNYIT Goalkeeper Jesse Yanarella (Wappingers Falls, N.Y. / Ketcham) recorded his first shutout of the season with the help of his team's defense. Kyle Baker (Rome, N.Y. / Rome) had a team high 3 shots taken (1 SOG) in the game, but despite his best efforts was unable to land one in the back of the net.
