MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's basketball team won a big NEAC game against Lancaster Bible on Saturday with playoff implications. The Wildcats started strong and kept their foot on the gas building a commanding lead going into halftime with a 44-21 lead. They held their lead through the second half to finish the 27 point win.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
- Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) lead the team with 16 points in the game. He also had 10 rebounds to record his 11th double-double of the season. Gregory also had three assists and a block.
- Caleb Canty (Hudson, N.Y.) had a 15 point game for the Wildcats. He also had pairs of assists, two rebounds, and two steals.
- The Wildcats had three other players with double-digit point totals. LJ Randle (Rotterdam, N.Y.) had 13, Kievonn Banks (Rochester, N.Y.) scored 11, and Averi Parker (Harlem, N.Y.) dropped 10.
- Jordan Shewbridge led the Chargers with nine points. He also collected a pair of rebounds and an assist.
- The Wildcat defense held all Lancaster Bible players under 10 points in the game.
- The Wildcats shot 50% from the field, 57.1% from three. They also won the turnover battle 21-10.

The Wildcats will be back in action for their regular-season finale and Senior Day game against Gallaudet University in the Campus Center Gym. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 PM with Senior Day festivities beforehand.
